Spring Oiclloth Settee

It's time to get the front porch fancied up! My book, Sewing with Oilcloth, has a great seat cushion pattern that you can make to the exact size of your outdoor furniture! My oilcloth covered settee is now 4 years old and it's still looking great. Which is pretty impressive since this is our cats favorite sleeping spot year round.

My reversible seat cushion sports Yellow Hibiscus and Lime Zoya with Lime Dot oilcloth accents.

My lovely friend Mary Ellen Kim of Twist Style (see below) hosted an open house yesterday for a new division of her company, Happiness Factory. I was so happy to head down to Chester, VA and enjoy some crafty time.

 Mary Ellen snagged a bolt of faux bois oilcloth in walnut to cover her new craft tables. 

This way she can just whip up the glitter, glue and paint. Easy peasy.

New: Picnic Check Oilcloth

I fell in love with this print when I helped Denise from The Painted Home deck out her Craft Camper a few months ago. She had picked out this 1" check oilcloth in black and white for the seat cushions that I made.


I used my pattern from my first book Sewing with Oilcloth.

You know I had to get it my favorite color too! Red, red, red! We just got a few bolts to sell, check out our new site modernjune.com.

New Laminated Cotton!

Our newest print, London Calling, is so dang cute! This laminated cotton is 56" wide so you can easily make a spring tablecloth for you dining room or kitchen table. Laminates don't fray so can trim off the fabrics salvage and cut your fabric into your desired shape and you're all set!

I just love a simple no-sew project that makes a big impact!! Happy spring...
