Just Arrived: Orange Gingham and Green Lace Oilcloth

Look at what the UPS man brought us this week! Green Paradise Lace and Orange Gingham oilcloth for the up coming holiday seasons!

Here are some fun combinations that I love with the green lace oilcloth.
You can take this girlie by adding pinks, autumnal with greens and browns,
or go holiday and pair it with the reds!
My favorite combo is the cherries, I am thinking cherry tablecloth with a thin green lace trim.

I bought the orange gingham with one thing in mind, Halloween.
But now that I see it I
like it for so much more!
The orange lace is not a great match, I added that so you could see.
I love the browns and the greens. That green dot is my favorite!

Great Idea, recipe books covers

Try this with oilcloth... diy wednesdays: lauren and derek’s cookbook covers. We found this yesterday on Design Sponge and we think that it would totally cute to substitute the thin vinyl tablecloths with oilcloth! I bet most of my cookbooks are Fat Quarter size. I wonder if I could get my 11 year old daughter to get working on this project for me?

So, in the mean time check this out... I am really enjoying the Patio Party Series at Janome Sew 4 Home site. If I had the time I would make this tablecloth and these seat cushions in oilcloth!

I will get to these fun projects in good time but for now it's up to you so get sewing for me!

Let's start something new, Oilcloth Addicts Show and Tell! Show us your projects and get a coupon for 10% off you next Oilcloth Addict order. No need for a tutorial, just show us something fun that you are working on! Send me a few good pictures of your project to and I will post them here on the blog along with a link to your blog.
