Curing Chalk Cloth

For best results you need to prep your chalk cloth before use. To cure your new chalk cloth simply lay a piece of chalk on its side on the chalk cloth surface, and rub all over, side to side and then wipe clean. Now, do this one more time rubbing your chalk up and down. Wipe it clean one last time and the chalk cloth is now ready for use. Grab some chalk and have a blast!

I had no idea, thank you! I bought some of this cloth a while ago and have been itching to use it. Now I'm betting it'll work even better :)

Sorry for being dense, but do you wipe the chalk cloth clean after the first rubbing or rub it twice without cleaning in between?

Not a silly question at all, I rub it down each time I coat it with Chalk.

thanks, Kelly

When you are curring the chalk cloth, do you rub it down in between the two chalk coats with an eraser or with a wet rag? Thanks so much!

Sarah, wipe it down with a damp cloth and chalk it up again. Then have some big time fun playing with the chalk cloth!!
