Last Freebie for 2009!

This week we are giving away another 1/2 yard of the new Amy Butler Laminated Cotton, Lux Oilcloth!  To enter leave me a note telling me which cloth is your favorite, don't forget to leave an email so I can contact you.

I just had to share another half yard of the PUL/Laminated Cotton when I happened upon this great tutorial for making reusable sandwich wraps.  The tutorial is just one of the great projects from the awesomely green designer and book author Betz White!  For more green sewing projects check out her book, Sewing Green, it's the perfect gift for any crafty momma!

By the way dear RVA friends, which ever one of you has my book needs to give it back!!!  ; )

A NOTE ON THE SAFTEY OF OILCLOTH:  Please note that the recent Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) prohibits oilcloth garments such as bibs and aprons or toys for children While there are no heavy metals in oilcloth, it may not be suited for Snack Bags and Sandwich Wraps especially for children.  I suggest using the more family friendly Laminated Cottons.
